September 25, 1979 : The inaugural general meeting of the Japan Association for Working Environment Measurement was held.
December 1, 1979 : Approval for the establishment of a nonprofit and only one organizations in Japan as the Japan Association for Working Environment Measurement was obtained from the Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare.
Office was placed in 1-17-6 Nishi-shinbashi, Minato-ku, Tokyo.
October 1, 1980 : Office was moved to 3-7-18 Mita, Minato-ku, Tokyo.
April 1, 1981 : Training Centre was established in a new office wing.
June 29, 1981 : Designation of working environment measurement experts as a training institute was obtained from the Director of the Tokyo Prefectural Labour Standards Office .
December 12, 1986 : The Association was registered by the Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare as a designated agency of working environment measurement experts.
November 14, 1989 : A ceremony to commemorate the tenth anniversary of the Japan Association for Working Environment Measurement was held.
March 19, 1990 : The Association was designated by the Director -General of Labour Standards Bureau as a calibrating agency for measuring instruments through a relatively concentrated indication method.
April 1, 1990 : The Accuracy Control Centre was established at 3-32-11 Ohjima, Koto-ku, Tokyo
June 10, 1991 : Office was moved to 2-3-31 Shibaura, Minato-ku, Tokyo.
October 18, 1993 : Office was moved to 4-4-5 Shiba, Minato-ku, Tokyo.
November 19, 1999 : A ceremony to commemorate the twentieth anniversary of the Japan Association for Working Environment Measurement was held.
May 11, 2003 : The Association was approved to become an organizational member as well as a member of Board of Directors of IOHA (Industrial Occupational Hygiene Association ).
May 6, 2004 : The Accuracy Control Centre was moved to 1-21-25 Oogibashi, Koto-ku, Tokyo.
September 22, 2008 The Accuracy Control Centre was moved to 4-38-3 Ryogoku, Sumida-ku, Tokyo.
